After work tonight got out into the garage and got some work done on the car. Pulled off the valve cover and lined up the CAS properly. I had swapped the one that was in there out for a spare I had when troubleshooting a few weeks ago and definitely didn’t have it lined up properly. Got it all lined up and reassembled and went for a test fire and it started right up! Video I have is from the second time I fired it up unfortunately my phone was dead on the first go.
As you can see the car definitely isn’t running 100% yet. Jumps to 2k RPM first thing but calms down a little. After that still has a rough idle but that could be due to the MAF connection not being secured so I will try again tomorrow to see if its any better now that I’ve tightened it. If that doesn’t fix it next thing I’ll do is go vacuum leak hunting.

Kinda backwards of me to write it this way but I was too excited not to tell you guys the car runs. Last night I got the faction throttle cable bracket installed, great looking piece glad I grabbed it! Also got the nut for the rear arm I’ve been missing. Took me a while to properly identify which one I needed as there is no master list I can find with sizing. If any of you guys need it for your car the part# is: 08912-9421A , Faction sells it on their site labeled as S14 lower control arm nut.

With that on there I’m one step closer to getting the car back on the ground. Going to try and make some more progress after work this week to possibly drive the car soon. I’ll keep you guys updated, thanks for reading!
