Been a little bit since I’ve updated you guys and I’m happy to report that the 240 has been treating me very well on daily duty. I have driven the car to work for the past week and a half and it has given me no issues besides a small power steering leek that I need to take care of. Took the trip up to the private event last weekend and it made the 220 mile round trip with no issue. Everyone said I was nuts for driving the car up after only getting it running a few days prior but I figured what better shakedown than this!
Unfortunately for the time being this is the only photo I can share of the event but hopefully someday in the future I can put together an edit for you guys!
Bought a ticket for Lock City’s Falls Finest event so gotta get the Miata ready for action. Not too much to do except swap the wheels around and do an oil change. Also need to replace the O2 sensor as it has once again died on me. It seems as though whenever I don’t drive my car for more than 3 weeks they just die on me. Luckily I got a part number from a friend for a sensor that works with the gauge I can get at AutoZone and it’s much cheaper. Wanted to try and drive the 240 at this event but after trying it out in a parking lot with the blown coilovers it wouldn’t be worth it to bring that when I have the Miata all set up.
