Hey all! This past weekend Tyler and I headed out to hit the 2nd to last event of the year for us.

Saturday was without incident for me however the rest of the Everlong boys had some mishaps. Tyler ended up “exploding” his passenger rear control arm like the 4th lap out on skidpad… not too long before that Jack blew up 2nd gear in his transmission. Felt bad that there was nothing I could do to help either of them but they told me to keep getting laps since my car was in one piece. My buddy Colin(@thecewcollection) got these pics of me in line on on the skidpad!

Henry ended up being able to buy a ticket on site so he was able to get on track and throw down some laps with me on the first clubhouse session. Tyler ended up getting his car fixed by the 2nd clubhouse session thanks to some very nice pit neighbors who had a flux core welder with them. I only drove 3/5 sessions but man the laps I got in those sessions made it worth it not to even bother going back to skidpad later in the day.

Only went through maybe half a set of tires that day and I really credit it stopping every 5 or 6 laps to cool down the tires. Luckily Thompson has a spot where we can pull in and cool off the tires with a garden hose. Without that I genuinely think I’d need to start bringing spare tires with me.

One thing I need to tackle before next event is getting my tune dialed in as I tried retuning before this event but it ended up not being where I wanted it. Had to end up using my gas can at the track and stopped for fuel on the way home too which usually I can avoid. Overall the day was amazing and reminded me why I love going to the track so much. Good times with great friends is really what it’s all about and I can’t wait to get back out there for one final time this year! Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this it means a lot to me!
