Woke up this morning and had the itch to drive the 240sx. Swapped over the miata’s battery into it as I still have yet to buy a dedicated battery for the car. Pulled it out of the garage and I was quickly reminded of the power steering fluid leak I need to fix. No big deal I just ended up topping it off for now and will have to order the hose to fix it later. Went and topped off the gas tank as well as grabbed some more PS fluid and I headed out towards the hair pin turn on the Mohawk trail. Coming from the east getting there is a great cruise and after doing it today I wish could go back and experience it when the leaves were good. Thankfully I had no issues with the car and had a pleasant journey.

Was very cool to see snow on the tops of the mountains in the distance and I’m really excited to get the film I shot while here developed.

In other happenings I bought a ticket for the Nutcracker Bash Lock City holds and it will officially be the last event of the year for me. Not going to need to much prep for it other than some re-tuning which Tyler and I tackled this afternoon and potentially buying another set of tires. Also been debating on if I want to swap out the OEM SR manifold with the Megan racing one I have kicking around in my garage.

It’s currently mated up to a Tomei ARMs 7960 turbo and a Tomei turbo outlet. My plan would be to just remove those and run it with my stock t25 and PBM Cobra downpipe. I’m pretty sure it mounts at a near stock location but it’s hard to be 100% sure and I also can’t seem to find a whole lot of info about it online. I guess the only way to know will be try! Thanks for taking the time out of your day to read this, I’ll hopefully be back soon with another update!
